“The short journey across the lagoon to the hotel by boat sets you up for a big disappointment. The location is superb right on Paradise beach but unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about Ceysands. If you are in to cheap tacky out dated dull hotels then this is for you!! Honestly I have never seen such driving they are crazy!!! To get to the hotel you have to cross the river with a small boat (2 minutes). As a welcome we received”

“Entrance is really special: Aluthgama ‘station’ to park the car then hotel boat across the lagoon to the peninsula where hotel is.
